Anathema again in Warsaw
Once again the British band Anathema has been very warmly welcomed in Poland. This time they visited Warsaw, Cracow and Wroclaw as a part of the “Satellites Over Europe” tour promoting their recent release “Distant Satellites”. A set list based mainly on their two latest albums also included fans’ favourites like “Closer” plus “Natural Disaster” and “Fragile Dreams” for the encore. The band was supported by the Austrian band Mother’s Cake.
Anathema was formed in 1990 in Liverpool. The band has recorded 13 studio albums, 2 live albums and 4 compilation albums. The band members were looking for their own place in music for a long time, going through death and doom metal, to finally find themselves in atmospheric and art rock style. Polish fans, which reflects in frequent shows around Poland, have always positively received Anathema.
